The Senior Bus service will continue all summer with some changes to the schedule. Beginning July 1up to and includingAuguse 20, the senior bus will run from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm because of scheduling issues with the bus company. The 9 to 2 schedule will resume of Tuesday, August 24.
In August, beginning August 17, we will run the bus only on Tuesday and Friday until Tuesday Sept. 7 when the regular three day schedule resumes. Please check the schedule under transportation.
Many thanks to the community for its support of the Garden Tour in June. It was a rousing success. Special thanks to the gardeners who opened up their beautiful properties to the public. The gardens were lovely, unique and lots of fun to explore, and many of the homeowners were on hand to answer questions and greet the tourists. Thanks also to our secret garden committee for their great ideas for the tour, for help in securing gardens for the tour, soliciting ads for the ad journal and for keeping us organized the day of. The next tour will be spring 2012. If anyone has knowledge of a great garden in the area, please let us know as soon as possible. Thank you!

Welcome to the website of Senior Services Center of the Chathams, Inc. Senior Services offers a wide variety of activities, services and programs to seniors and their families in and around the Chathams. We hope you will stop by the Senior Center, introduce yourself to our staff, explore some of our classes and meet some really friendly folks.
WHAT'S NEW?
Beginning Friday, June 4th, the Senior Center will close at 1 p.m. during the summer months. In addition, the schedule for the senior bus will be altered in July and August. Please check the schedule carefully.
The Senior Center can now accept Mastercard or Visa payment for classes, programs and donations, either online, in person at the senior center, or over the phone. We thank you in advance for your generosity and for your support these of our program of services.
