2009 Fundraising
On March 19, 2009, Senior Services Center of the Chathams held a spring fundraising event which was not only successful, but was also a lot of fun for those attending.   The “Think Spring” committee members, our board and the staff of Senior Services wish to thank our many Chatham neighbors whose contributions made the evening so enjoyable.

First and foremost, thanks to Westy Storage Center and its management and staff for providing a beautiful and pristine venue for the affair and for helping with publicity, set up, supplies and much more.  Bruce Davies and associates gave an excellent lecture and slide show on spring gardening and landscape design.  The Chatham Art League and young artists from Chatham High School filled the space with paintings and photographs which were arranged and hung by Ed Schuh, Senior Center art instructor.  While perusing the art work, attendees were serenaded by a string ensemble from the Chatham High School music department, and enjoyed desserts made by the Chatham High Key Club and Helen Oare’s Brownie Troop 193. We are grateful to Chatham High School community liaison, Anne Fields, for coordinating the activities of the Chatham students.   Special thanks are extended to Madison Honda, Tri County MRI and Diagnostic Radiology, Madison Honda, and Morris Hills Center Genesis Health Care for sponsoring and helping to underwrite the cost of this event.  Thanks to Coviello Brothers of Madison, The Farm, J&M Home and Garden, and Tri County MRI for the gifts in kind for goody bags.  The Township of Chatham graciously provided Senior Services with technical assistance for the program. Cablevision of Morris covered and broadcast the event in March and April.
