Free Tax Aide from AARP every Thursday through April 12 by appointment.

In the event of snow or other weather issues please call 973-635-0831 for a recorded message regarding the status of classes and programs. During power outages we may be unable to tape a message.  Call the municipal offices at 973-635-4600 for information about the status of the building.
Consider registering for the police department program "Operation Reassurance" for Boro and Township seniors.  This is a safety program for you and a chance for your local police officers to get to know you.  You call the police department by 10 a.m. each morning.  If they do not hear from you, they try calling you.  If there is no answer, an officer is dispatched to your home to be sure you are o.k.  You give the department a key to your home.  Because of our recent and severe power outages this is an excellent way to know someone in town is available to get you help if you need it and cannot communicate with the outside world.  Call your local police to register:
Ch. Township:  973-377-0100
Ch. Borough:  973-635-8000

Welcome to the website of Senior Services Center of the Chathams.

Senior Services is a not for profit corporation that provides programs, activities and services specifically for adults over the age of 60 although we certainly welcome adults of any age.   This is accomplished via a Senior Center located at 58 Meyersville Rd. in Chatham Township, a senior bus service and information and referral services for senior citizens and their families.

The website includes the monthly newsletter, Leisure Pursuits, the monthly calendar of events and a senior bus schedule.  Information is also available about other services and local organizations useful to senior citizens.

The Senior Center is an excellent place to make new friends, learn new skills and gather useful information.  We invite you to visit the center and take a tour of the facility, sample our exercises classes and meet some of the wonderful, bright people who participate on a regular basis here at the center.  We think you will be surprised and pleased by what is available.

The Annual Report for 2010 is now available online.

Donate to the Center via Mastercard or Visa.

You may also call the office to make a payment over the phone. 973-635-4565.
