- Trip to the Gillinder Glass Factory and Grey Towers: On May 8, 2009, a lively group from Senior Services left the Senior Center on a trip to the Gillinder Glass Factory in Port Jervis, NY and Grey Towers Heritage Association in Milford, Pennsylvania.
- Amato Opera Trip: On March 29th, 2009, 55 friends from Senior Services traveled to the Amato Opera in the Bowery section of New York to see La Boheme.
- Think Spring Fundraiser: On March 19, 2009, Senior Services Center of the Chathams held a spring fundraising event.
- New Jersey Foundation For Aging 10th Anniversary Celebration: At its 10th Anniversary celebration, the New Jersey Foundation for Aging highlighted several agencies that had benefited from their generosity. One of the groups featured was the Senior Services’ Reflections program. This video segment recorded in 2000, by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, records some of the thoughts and comments of the then facilitator, Estelle Taffel, Reflection group members, and Micki Chaput, Executive Director of Senior Services. It was shown to attendees at the 10th Anniversary Gala of the New Jersey Foundation for the Aging.
