Door-to-door service is provided for Chatham Borough and Township residents over the age of 60 who are able to access the bus with minimal assistance. Home health aides are welcome to accompany their clients. Suggested donation is $1.00 each way. Partial funding is provided by the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Overlook Hospital Foundation, Fred C. Rummel Foundation, Arnold C. Schwartz Foundation, and CR Bard Foundation. Transportation is provided to any destination in Chatham Township, Chatham Borough, and Madison. When possible, we will transport to the New Providence shopping center. Shoppers are asked to purchase only what they can carry themselves. The senior bus operates on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. A mall trip is provided one Monday per month to the Livingston and Short Hills Malls. To use the service:
Call the Senior Center at 973-635-4565 the day before your trip between 9:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m. Leave your name, phone number, destination and the time you wish to be picked up. Our staff will confirm your reservation.

Senior Center, shopping (Kings, Shop Rite, Stop & Shop, Main St. and Hickory Shops), doctor's or physical therapy appointments, hair salons and barbers, restaurants for lunch, library, municipal buildings, friend's homes, train station, bus stop, cleaners, Madison YMCA or library, Madison shopping area...you get the idea.

This free service is provided by the County of Morris for transportation of seniors and people with disabilities for medical appointments and employment purposes. Registration is necessary. Once registered, you can make your reservation via email at: email@example.com. Email is checked daily and responded to within 24 hours. It is also used for alerts of delays and cancellations. MAPS provides medical transport anywhere in Morris County five days a week, Monday through Friday, and to medical appointments at Overlook and the Summit Medical Group in Union County on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please give as much advance notice as possible. Try to make appointments for mid to late mornings as the service only runs from 9 to 2.
